FAQ

  • What do I need for this class?
A: You'll need long pants or breeches, a pair of riding boots, an ASTM riding helmet by the 4th week. You can purchase these items at Oak Hollow Saddlery and Gifts on 66th Street.
  • What if I miss a class?
A: Unlike private riding lessons, this course follows a strict curriculum designed to quickly advance your riding skills. If you miss, you miss out. It is possible that we can schedule a private lesson to help you catch up on what you missed though. Just get with your instructor or call/text Alisha at 727-637-3022
  • What happens if it rains?
A: We'll follow the curriculum as best we can and do the groundwork first. It usually stops raining quickly and we often can still ride.
  • What if there's a tropical storm/hurricane coming?
A: Yikes! Why would you ask this question? During a tropical storm/hurricane watch we will postpone the week's lesson and pick up the following week with our curriculum.
  • What else comes with this course?
A: Glad you asked! We are putting together a workbook that will reinforce all the lessons you learned on Wednesday. All your handouts can go in there too. We are committed to teaching you as much as we can in a short time. Your success is our credentials.
  • Is there a weight limit?
A: Yes, we do have weight restrictions. On average we cut off at around 200 lbs. We do not have a height restriction.
