Due to these classes carrying points, cross entering from walk, to walk/trot, walk/trot to walk/trot/canter and vice-versa is not allowed unless it is an OPEN Class. Youth riders cannot ride in Junior, Adult or Seasoned classes. Juniors cannot ride in Youth, Adult or Seasoned classes and the same goes for Adult and Seasoned riders.

2. Stock Type Mares 5 & Under
Stock type horses are usually horses with a quarter horse build. AQHA, APHA etc. It's divided by the horses age.
3. Stock Type Mares 6 & Over
4. Stock Type Geldings 5 & Under
5. Stock Type Geldings 6 & Over
6. Non-Stock Type – Mares
Non-Stock type horses are usually Thoroughbreds, Morgans, Arabians, Saddlebreds, Draft. Not your typical Quarter Horse or Paint Horse breeds.
7. Non-Stock Type - Geldings
8. Pony – 14.2 & under
Ponys are fully grown horses who are 14.2 hands tall and under.
9. Color – Mares & Geldings Sponsored by KP Horsemanship
Color class is judged on the color of your horse. Usually paints, palominos, buckskins, grulla... think flashy and unique. The horse can be any age.
10. Beginner Showmanship Sponsored by Whispering Trails Farm
Showmanship focuses on the exhibitor's ability to fit and show a horse at halter. Judges evaluatethe grooming and fitting of the horse and the expertise of the exhibitor in presenting the horse tothe best of his or her ability. Contestants must work a predetermined pattern consisting ofmaneuvers such as walking, trotting, pivoting, backing and setting up. Beginner showmanship is for exhibitors who have not won a first or second place in showmanship yet. This class counts toward over all division high point.
11. Open Showmanship
Showmanship focuses on the exhibitor's ability to fit and show a horse at halter. 12. Lead Line
Leadline is where the exhibitor is led by a ground handler and shows at a walk only. The leader should have a leadline attached to the horse's bridle and hold on to the line at all times.
13. Pleasure
Walk pleasure is a walk only class. Rider may be asked to halt and back up the horse and weave cones. Pleasure classes are usually judged more on the horse than the rider. We do allow for a trainer to walk with the rider if needed. No leadline.
14. Horsemanship
Walk Only. Horsemanship is judged more on the rider than the horse. Rider may be asked to halt and back up the horse and weave cones. We do allow for a trainer to walk with the rider if needed. No leadline.
15. Open Schooling Class W/J ONLY (all ages)
Open means this class is "Open" to all ages divisions. This is a walk/jog only class, no loping.
16. Open Ranch Horse Suitability W/J ONLY
Open means this class is "Open" to all ages divisions. This is a walk/jog only class, no loping. Ranch Horse Suitability is a rail class that may call for additional maneuvers like extended jog, stop and turn on haunches, etc.

This class is a walk/jog class for youth age division only. You cannot cross enter into this class if you are not in this age division. Pleasure is normally judged on the horse.
18. Youth Horsemanship W/J ONLY

37. Open Bareback (single rider)
People always ask if they can use a bareback pad in this class. The answer is, you may use a pad to cushion your horse's backbone as long as it has NO STIRRUPS and NO GIRTH.
38. Open Double Bareback (two riders) Jackpot class!
Both riders must register for this class. People always ask if they can use a bareback pad in this class. The answer is, you may use a pad to cushion your horse's backbone as long as it has NO STIRRUPS and NO GIRTH.Jackpot means that the winner of this class will earn half of the entire class entry fees back as a jackpot prize. (If there are ten horses in the class with two registered riders = $150 cash to the winning team)
39. Lead Line
English leadline only. Exhibitors will be lead at a walk. The judge may call for a stop and back up.
40. Hunter Under Saddle
Walk only class. HUS (Hunter Under Saddle) is judged mainly on the horse. We do allow for a trainer to walk with the rider if needed. No leadline. The judge may call for a stop or back up. Rider may be asked to walk through cones or over poles.
41. Equitation
Walk only class. Equiatation is judged mainly on the rider. We do allow for a trainer to walk with the rider if needed. No leadline. The judge may call for a stop or back up. Rider may be asked to walk through cones or over poles.

Be sure to double check your classes to make sure you signed up for the correct ones. Youth riders should not go in Junior or Adult marked classes and vice versa. You can cross enter into Open classes as it's open for anyone to join in.
